1.1 When you purchase through this Website you agree to be bound our terms and conditions.
1.2 These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

1.4 If you do not agree with any aspect whatsoever of these terms and conditions please terminate the transaction immediately. These terms and conditions shall apply every time you make a purchase through this website.
2 The contract
2.1 Your order constitutes an offer to us to purchase Goods and/or Services. All orders are subject to acceptance by us in the prescribed form. The contract between you and the Council will only be formed when you are sent the purchase confirmation.
2.2 The contract will relate only to those Goods and/or Services which have been confirmed in the purchase confirmation.
3.1 You will be able to access most areas of this Website without registering your details with us. Certain areas of this Website may only open to you if you register. Access is given to this Website in accordance with these online terms.
3.2 You warrant that in using this Website and completing the online registration you will not impersonate any other person, use a false name or, without proper authority act for any other person or organisation.

6 Price and payment
6.1 Prices and any additional related charges (where applicable) are as published on the Website for the relevant Goods and/or Services on the date of your order.
6.2 Where Value Added Tax (VAT) is chargeable, this will be added and displayed separately and on the order summary and receipt at the current prevailing rate. This rate may vary from time to time.
6.3 This contains a large number of Goods and/or Services and despite its best efforts there may be occasions where Goods and/or Services may be priced incorrectly. Where this has occurred, we are entitled to cancel your order and issue you with a refund for the amount you have paid, after which you can resubmit your order for the product at the correct price.
6.4 Payment for Goods and/or Services is accepted through major credit and/or debit cards. Your card will be charged directly after your order has been placed but the time taken to process the payment through your account will be dependant on your card supplier.
6.5 We accept no liability if a payment is refused or declined by the credit or debit card supplier for any reason.
6.6 We accept no liability for any loss or damage, arising directly or indirectly,, as a result of a payment being refused or declined.
6.7 If you are purchasing from outside the Republic of South Africa you will be charged in your own currency and the banks will perform the currency conversion into South African Rand.
6.8 Confirmation of your payment will be displayed on screen once it has been authorised and accepted. You will also receive confirmation of the transaction to the email address you have provided.
6.9 We reserve the right to refuse to process payments.
6.10 We will not be liable for any damages resulting from our decision not to process a payment made through our Online Payments facility.
7.1 We will deliver the Goods to the Delivery Address you gave when you placed the order.
7.2 Your order will be fulfilled within ………………… days of the date of purchase unless we specified otherwise in the terms and conditions for individual Goods and/or Services.
7.3 The risk in the Goods will pass to you as soon as they are dispatched to your chosen delivery service.
8 Returns and Cancellation Policy
8.1. Please note that once a sale is concluded it is firm hence returns and refunds are will only be approved at the sole discretion of Gayton McKenzie. Credits will therefor only be issued on approved returns.

8.3 Any books that are returned must be received by us within…………..days from the date upon which the book was dispatched to the customer. The initial delivery charge will not be refunded and the cost of returning the book to us will be for the customer’s account. This condition shall not apply in the event on an error on our end. The customer is hereby requested to include the relevant order or invoice number so as to enable a refund to be processed.
8.4 Please note that returns will not be accepted in the event of the following:
– If received later than three (3) weeks after the date upon which it was dispatched.
– The book is not in the condition in which it was dispatched.
8.5 Please note further that in the instances provided for above, no refund will be processed and the customer shall be liable for the cost of redelivery of the book.
9 Data protection policy
9.1 We do not hold customer credit or debit card details on this Website or any of its data systems. All credit or debit card details are managed by our payment service provider, who is compliant with the payment industry’s highest standards for data protection and transaction security.
9.2 Any personal data collated through this Website will be treated confidentially, and will only be used to process your order and for statistical analysis to continually improve the Website and its Services to you, and to service the Website.
9.3 Data may be shared with the police, the government or any other legal authority investigating suspected illegal activities if there is an official request.
